Ingredients:

  • Chilli Crab Sauce: Prawn stock, tomato sauce, sugar, pasteurised egg, chilli, onion, peanut oil, water, shallot, garlic, imitation vinegar, salt, flavour, yeast extract, ginger, peanut, salted soya bean paste, sesame oil, dried shrimp, soya sauce, modified waxy maize starch, lemon grass, chilli powder, white pepper, stabiliser.
  • Chilli Crab Oil: vegetable oil, prawn shell, shallot, salt.
  • Noodle: Wheat flour, salt, acidity regulators (sodium carbonate, disodium phosphate). 

Cooking instruction:

Please follow the stated cooking instruction for the BEST RESULT.
1. Put unopened packets of (A) Chilli Crab Oil and (B) Chilli Crab Sauce into boiling water for 3 mins.
2. In a separate pot, put noodles into 500ml of boiling water and boil for 6mins.  Drain away the water and put noodles on a plate.
3. Mix (A) Chilli Crab Oil with the noodles, then add (B) Chilli Crab Sauce and mix well.  Chilli Crab La Main is ready to serve.

For more indulgent meal and spicier dish, at step 3, you may add any cooked fresh crab mean or shellfish and cut chilli after adding (B) Chilli Crab Sauce.




Verdict:
Ethan has this and he gave it a 7/10 - I tried a bit of the broth and reckon he is very generous with the score.  I told him that it deserves a 5/10 as it's a bit weak on the taste and the broth is weak too.  I will re-do this noodle and add some ingredients so that we can have at least 9/10. 

Verdict 28/7/14:
I remade Prima Taste Singapore Chilli Crab La Mian but stir fried (Dry version) and man it's bloody awesome! I gave it a 10/10.  Watch the video below to see how it was done.
